1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible
By 1957, the fins hit full stride and the Bel Air established itself as America's choice. The '57 Convertible epitomizes the "American Classic." Two-thirds ordered were fitted with optional V-8 engines including a fuel-injected 283 HP - 283 cu. in. version. Chevrolet claimed one horsepower per every cubic inch which helped to power the '57 to win 18 Grand National Stock Car Races that year.
