1935 Auburn Boat Tail 851 Speedster
/ Yellow | ||
| Our perfectly restored canary yellow speedster is one of the top examples in the world. The Eckard Brothers of Auburn, IN. Saved by Erret Cord & Lycomb engines and Duesenberg joined forces to build the famous Auburn Boat Tail. Our 2 owner model (bought new in Vermont) was a survival of the depression "35" cars. Parts of D.C.D. survived until 1974 and vanished. The rear of the Boat Tails were wooden skeletons and could be light on turns. Our splendid car is so attractive that our patrons always pause to admire it. | ![]() |
